About Us

Hi there! I’m Anna Walker, a 52-year-old chef living in Asheville, North Carolina, where the mountains meet creativity in the kitchen. My journey with food started in my grandma’s little sunlit kitchen in Savannah, Georgia. I was barely tall enough to see over the counter, but I remember the scent of her shrimp and grits filling the air like it was yesterday. From that moment, food became my language, my way of connecting, celebrating, and comforting.

I’ve worked in bustling New York City restaurants, rustic farm-to-table spots in the Midwest, and even took a year to travel through Italy, learning from grandmothers who didn’t speak a word of English but taught me more about cooking than any textbook ever could. What I bring to the table is a blend of tradition and innovation, soul and science.

Whether you’re an experienced cook or just beginning your culinary adventure, I’m here to bring you the best recipes, cooking tips, and inspiration to make every meal memorable. I believe that cooking should be joyful, not stressful. That mistakes are just part of the recipe. And that the best meals are the ones you share.

When I’m not in the kitchen, you’ll find me hiking the Blue Ridge trails, visiting local farmers’ markets, or teaching weekend cooking classes to anyone with an appetite for learning. So, grab your apron—we’re about to make something delicious together.
