  • 23 tablespoons heavy cream or milk, as needed
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Optional: A squeeze of lemon juice or almond extract for added flavor

Instructions

  • Prepare Ingredients: Soften the cream cheese at room temperature. Sift powdered sugar into a bowl.
  • Beat Cream Cheese: In a large mixing bowl, beat the cream cheese on medium speed for 1–2 minutes until creamy and smooth.
  • Add Powdered Sugar: Reduce speed to low and gradually add powdered sugar, mixing well after each addition.
  • Add Vanilla & Adjust Consistency: Mix in vanilla extract. If too thick, add 1 tablespoon of heavy cream/milk at a time until the desired consistency is reached.
  • Beat Until Fluffy: Increase to medium-high speed and beat for 1–2 minutes until light and fluffy.
  • Chill (Optional): If the frosting is too soft, refrigerate for 15–20 minutes before using.
